SUMMARYThis role offers the opportunity to shape & develop the process of Demand and Supply Planning by working together with Sales and Marketing which can provide accurate short-

medium term demand in both volume and value to the business for an efficient S&OP process SCOPE / DIMENSIONS OF ROLETo ensure supply by monitoring daily supply operationsTo provide a link in the supply chain between Sales, Marketing, Logistics and Finance through the generation and enhancement of demand-

related information.To work with logistics function, so as to ensure customer demand is met in full and on time at each location to support Sales / Marketing Departments' plans within the company's policies.

Manage and develop the Supply Chain activities in relation to the following areas catering to HK / TW business growth : Demand & Supply Planning on unconstraint and constrained basisS&OP processCustomer ServicesRESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIESSupply Planning Monitor and handle daily supply planning operations to ensure supply Compile and validate supply numbers based on demand numbers Decide on items to order and quantity based on demand and Company’s policy on inventory managementDemand Planning -

Rigorous review and monitoring of sales plan by category and forecast to be adjusted.Initiate changes in planned deliveries to cater for any changes in inventory levels / sales plans.

Communicate any changes for known supply or demand activitiesHandle routine forecast review activitiesGap Control - Identify gaps by brand / category and manage the process to identify ways to close gap.

Monitor and manage inventory movementsNPD Tracking - Maintain a list of projects due for launch in next 3 monthsAssist Demand Forecasting Manager in facilitating S&OP meetingsLogistics Function manage 3PL for embellishments, stock issue and accuracy of stocks.

Provide accurate short-medium terms demand forecasting by closely working with Sales & MarketingSupport / Lead Supply Excellence projectsSystem updating and reporting duties are requiredKEY CHALLENGESFast response and good communication in supply planning activitiesUnderstanding all the demand drivers and their impact on the sales forecastBeing able to quickly identify abnormal demand patterns (either demand or supply related) and determining the impact on the businessUnderstanding how brand plans and customer management plans are developedUnderstanding how our promotional strategy is developedAct as the gatekeeper of the sales forecast and, as such, to challenge Sales and Marketing assumptions and their requests for changesExcellent understanding on data and market dynamicDiligence & fast thinkingPROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE1.

  • QualificationFormal qualifications in Supply Chain, Statistics or equivalent2. Experience3-5 years in supply planning experience in an FMCG businessAn understanding of demand drivers (eg : pricing, promotions, competitive activity, consumer and customer buying habits) and how they impact on the Sales PlanKEY COMPETENCIES / PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESWork experience in both demand and supply planning and able to work independentlyAn excellent communication skill at all levels of the organisationFlexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem solving skillsExcellent interpersonal, presentation skills & leadership skills, able to influence people of all levelsStrong ability to review and identify issues and opportunities in business processesStrong analytical skills including commercial, financial acumen and budget managementCredible commercial and business awarenessRB is a global business;
