As a Payroll andBenefit Specialist at Micron you will responsible to generate thecompany payroll, time management, tax, insurance and pension.
Youwill meet government reporting requirements for payroll taxes,withholding, and employercontributions.
Managepayroll process and ensure employee are paid accurately and on atimely basis.
Familiar with Taiwan law toensure compliance in all statutory contributions andfilings
Troubleshoot system errors and evaluateimpacts. Perform system testing to ensure dataintegrity.
Perform documented controls (such asSOX,RBA)
Process and verify Time andAttendance record through payroll system
Annualcalendar planning, manage public holiday and natural disasterattendance
Analysis the time and attendancerecord for businessneed
ProcessTax withholding and filing togovernment
Foreign employee taxmanagement
Manage out-sourced vendor to ensurethe accuracy for oversea assignee’s tax
Taxequalization calculation and processmanagement
Managesocial insurance (Labor insurance, National Health Insurance)process and ensure the compliance.
Manageout-sourced group insurance vendor to perform theaccuracy.
Analysis the benefit information forbusiness needBenefit.
Familiarwith Taiwan law and manage Pension (New pension and Old pensionrule) process to ensure the compliance.
Pensioncalculation and retirement processmanagement
Manage the pension committeemeeting
Internal,External Relationships andProjects
Manage Internal and ExternalRelationships
Identify, troubleshoot customerreported errors and provide resolution tocustomers
Build relationships, and credibility,with Micron team members andsupervisors
Maintain on-going relationshipswith other Departments (i.e., Accounting, Treasury, other HRDepartments)
Ensure Payroll and Time contentson HR portal are updated promptly andaccurately
Lead regional Payroll and Timeprojects
Bachelor Degree orequivalentexperience
Morethan 5 years of compensation, benefit and payroll relatedexperience.
Must be familiar with laborlaws.
Good at improving work flow, logicalthinking and analysis, coordinate and communicate acrossfunctions.
Fluency in English communicationskills on listening, speaking, reading andwriting.
Be enthusiastic on Payroll and Timepolicy and analysis.
SAP Payroll and Timesystem knowledge is abonus.
Taichung,May travel to Taoyuan occasionally
