Job Description

Team Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE)is looking for a highly versatile, dynamic, and efficient Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to lead design win and in activities with HPE Taiwan Design Center, Persistent Memory, and other data center related product.

This commissioned sales position is highly visible within Intel and HPE and offers great opportunity to join one of the most dynamic teams in Intel SMG.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to :

  • Provide technical and product marketing support to HPE TDC (Taiwan Design Center) to enable server design and launch with latest gen Intel processors, plus platform ingredients.
  • Present future Intel roadmap to HPE to help customer define future product and portfolio.
  • Lead technical support across Intel to ensure smooth TTM execution with latest gen Intel platform.
  • Foster world class senior level customer relationship, to best influence customer on key decisions.
  • Work with Intel internal organizations across Strategic Planning, Product Marketing, Customer Engineering, and related teams to provide world-class customer support.
  • Proactively and reactively manage customer escalations, anticipate before escalations come, guide internal management team to respond accordingly.
  • Continuously look for opportunity to improve product, portfolio, engineering execution, etc. together with HPE. Drive voice of customers to internal organizations, to help internal decision making and process enhancement.
  • A successful candidate will demonstrate below skills and capabilities :

  • Willing to drive strategic conversation, giving product presentations to the customer describing how Intel products provide the optimum solution to their application.
  • Influence with data the adoption of Intel Datacenter products at HPE including but not limited to CPUs, Optane SSD, Persistent Memory, and networking.
  • A collaborator always seeks to accomplish best results through working with team members, stakeholders, and customers around the globe.
  • A highly versatile sales person who can manage concurrent and competing tasks, can handle high degree of ambiguity and achieve clarity by analyzing and discussing / debating with team members.
  • Have a high level of maturity to manage difficult situations and maintain positive attitude.
  • Have outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build world class relationships at multiple levels both internally and with the customers.
  • Be highly efficient and effective in time management, stakeholder management, prioritization of competing tasks, and leveraging resources to achieve multiply effects.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills in front of executive or large audience.
  • Have the ability to learn and adapt in fast pace environment.
  • Have solid understanding of server ecosystem from design in to sell through.
  • The FAE will work in a team environment with host FSE, factory platform marketing and engineering team to assist customers during the product planning and development phases.

    The FAE will remove any technical or marketing barriers to the adoption of Intel products and grow revenue by driving preference for Intel technologies and solutions.

    The individual will manage relationships between Intel and HPE. Identify and develop new opportunities within accounts. Communicate strategies


    Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer / Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in technology sales, technical sales, or product management
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer / Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technology sales, technical sales, or product management.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Business Administration / Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience working with Server OEMs / ODMs
  • 4+ years of working knowledge of server architecture and commodities including memory and storage.
  • 1+ years of experience in Sales experience.
  • 1+ years of experience working with : PC OEMs.
  • 1+ years of working knowledge of PC architecture and commodities including memory and storage.
