Job Title : Senior Field Application Engineer, Datacom System Architect
PRIMARY PURPOSE :
Provide Datacom System Architect application support for DSS new and / or existing interconnect solutions for key customers
Communication with key customers and feed back VOCs and Market Trends to DSS product team for future solutions.
Seek and Track new or advanced technologies of Datacom System and improve application support capabilities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
On Field Support Sales to design win key projects and grow Biz by professional system application service.
Generate System Architect proposal or presentation materials for customer.
Provide expert advice to Sale, Marketing and customer on Datacom System related matters.
Be up-to-date with industry trend on the System Architect of Server / Storage / Switch and high speed connector requirements.
Disseminate / share customer information to Sales and Marketing teams
Build and maintain good relationship / trust with key engineers of customer.
Other duties as assigned by Management
This job supports DSS Taiwan customers and win key projects.
To help support new and existing products that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Provide VOC information for new product development to catch up with customers’ requirement and market trends to generate revenue and growth for Business Unit.
EDUCATION : REQUIRED :
Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent
MS and Ph.D. in the above fields
WORK EXPERIENCE : REQUIRED :
At least 5 years of related working experience for a degree holder
Experience on hardware system design of Server / Storage / Switch
Familiar with Server / Storage / Switch related Key AISC solution and Roadmap.
Familiar with Signal Integrity, high-speed electrical interconnects and SERDES technology
Familiar with system thermal evaluation and solutions S
KILLS & ABILITIES : REQUIRED :
In depth understanding of System Hardware Architect of Server / Storage / Switch.
In depth understanding of CPU / GPU / NVMe / Switch Chip solution and Roadmap.
Basic knowledge of signal integrity and high-speed electrical interconnects.
Basic knowledge of system mechanical and thermal design.
Demonstrated ability in information analysis problem solving and sound judgment
Good verbal and written skills for exchange of information in a clear and concise manner.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
In depth understanding of physical protocols and high-speed electrical interconnects
Expert with System Hardware Architect design or Signal Integrity
