Purpose of Role

Oversee and manage all aspects of W Taipei Security Department.Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all W Taipei guests and Talent, as well as protect the assets on the hotel premises.

Responsibly Description

  • Attend 9 : 30 senior management morning briefing.
  • Review and give feedback on log books.
  • Review and check all the security reports.
  • Review VIP arrivals and for special security requirements.
  • Patrol public areas twice a day.
  • Supervise and spot check Security Officer on duty to see if they are carrying
  • out their task properly.

  • Address all issues regarding suspicious persons (loitering, prostitute, mafia,
  • solicitor and lawyers and etc.)

  • Keep close contact with all Talent and departments to find out any issues
  • regarding security.

  • Assist government officials when they are in the house.
  • Look into all matters regarding possible hoax, prank or foul play (e.g. bomb
  • threat, terrorism, and etc.)

  • Liaise with guest(s) regarding returning lost valuables.
  • Help Manager on Duty with difficult guests.
  • Keep close contact with security units in local luxury hotels and exchange
  • information.

  • Recommend W Taipei to anyone acquainted for potential business
  • opportunity.

  • Take to responsibilities of driving the MIRA (Marriott Incident Reporting
  • Application) system and implementation of the hotel.
