Job Description

General Summary of Job Responsibility :

  • Analyze market dynamics, pricing trends, market opportunities, operating and sales margins in order to develop reports, procedures, and tools for pricing and quoting.
  • Support local business leaders, drive sales, increase profits, meet productivity standards and remain competitive with competitors
  • Work with Product Managers to develop and implement product price strategies including segment strategies for the various markets and channels
  • Address pricing-related inquiries from sales, ensure great customers purchase experience.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting for management
  • Support projects to streamline and enhance pricing processes
  • Responsibilities

  • Employ company pricing strategies, ensure sales and marketing comply with pricing changes.
  • Support cross-functional projects across the organization to drive completion complex Pricing & Commercial Analytics projects, ensuring global standard tools are deployed across the region
  • Support and maintain standard deal models to capture & quickly make decisions on complex deal quotations
  • Support operational excellence and best practice sharing cross the region
  • Support yearly list price review and prepare annual operations plan around pricing
  • Perform margin and pricing analysis to support key business initiatives as required
  • Perform monthly analysis of existing transactional level data to identify price realization vs. budget, assist sales and product management teams in constructing and implementing solutions
  • Monthly reports on special pricing and promo pricing impact on price realization
  • Validate sales quotations for accuracy and profitability. Build various analysis around sales performance / behavior, drive sales productivity
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including ad-hoc analysis to optimize price through market and pricing strategies
  • Requirement

  • Degree in Business / Finance / Marketing / Commerce / Accounting
  • 2-3 years’ experience in finance pricing role, or in a segment finance, marketing or business analysis position
  • Strong analytical capability including strong expertise in spreadsheet (Excel), database (Access), or business intelligence programs.
  • Simulation and forecasting competence is preferred
  • Business and marketing orientation
  • Excellent English proficiency
