The Role :
The Video Collaboration business team is looking for a top-class quality-focused leader, motivated to build and ship the next generation of B2C and B2B video collaboration devices.
The ideal candidate is a highly-creative engineering manager who has chosen to focus on quality and the product development lifecycle, has a track record of shipping best-
in-class products, and enjoys growing and leading a team of like-minded engineers responsible for factory quality. The successful candidate will be an outstanding manager of manufacturing design engineers, capable of managing multiple complex product development and support efforts with a "hands on" style that affords a high degree of personal interaction with the process;
as well as ideally having a strong vision of quality best practices.

Act as the technical expert in driving the development and optimization of manufacturing process and production design engineering.
Involved in data analysis, technical specifications and performance.
Leads cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and improve existing production processes, works closely with our project management teams to meet build timelines.
Leads team in defining and documenting procedures for all aspects of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Designs tests to establish and / or improve production processes.
Oversees the execution and documentation and failure analysis of pre-production runs.
Provide technical assistance and support internal teams and external suppliers.
Advise engineering employees in design modification, specification, purchase, installation, and validation of equipment and tooling
Demonstrate effective leadership skills in inspiring, driving and executing results through others; autonomy to develop and / or upgrade talent as needed to ensure success.
Develop and foster relationships with the Quality teams in other parts of Logitech, and establish "best practices" for the team.
Key Qualifications :
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team :
7+ years of directing and technically support projects within in-house, ODM or CDM manufacturing models, with at least 3 of those years in a quality management role with high volume consumer electronics products or enterprise solutions.
Must be detail oriented, self-directed, with demonstrable leadership and organizational skills.
Deep expertise in at least one engineering test discipline with a versatile knowledge of others (Software, EE, mechanics, optics, acoustics, firmware, signal processing);
experience in deploying and driving a more Agile-based product development process using JIRA a plus.
Ability to understand and explain quality trade-offs, make recommendations, commit to and evangelize the quality goals, to help drive the factory test processes.
Able to be assertive, self-motivated and work in a team environment; be open and willing to learn
Strong communications skills in English and Mandarin
Able to physically work in Hsinchu with a local Taiwan package
Willing to travel periodically to California and China.
Bachelors degree holder in and engineering field related to mechanical or electrical with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
