Job Description

The Commercial Strategy Director plays a vital role in ensuring Takeda’s business sustainability through overseeing Takeda long-

term commercial strategy for the overall pipeline; including, opportunities identification of the LOC market, product portfolio positioning, product listing, partnership management with Government Affairs, and key account management with win-win approaches.

ACCOUNTABILITIES : Key Account Management

Key Account Management

  • Design and implement the short, mid and long-term strategy for designated key accounts to drive sustainable and profitable business growth to maximize Key Account business.
  • Lead the key account team and drive the internal cross-function collaboration with customer insights through patient-centricity mindset.
  • Market Access :

  • Lead Market Access team and drive to accelerate the NHI policy, reimbursement, coverage and preventive screening strategies for the LOC product portfolio,
  • Understand the market dynamic and liaison with government affairs as well as external key stakeholders to enable optimal reimbursement
  • BD / NPP

  • Lead BD & NPP team to determine market opportunity and position Takeda pipeline as well as in-licensed products at launch for the best potential for revenue and profit.
  • Identify of portfolio gaps and explore of business opportunities such as in-licensing, co-promotion, out-licensing and other partnership opportunities.
  • EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE :

    Education :

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science or Pharmacy, Master degree or MBA will be a plus

    Work experience

  • More than10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in sales / marketing, including 5 years in management position
  • Successful track records of initiating and implementing cross-function projects with execution excellence
  • 5+years in people management responsibility
  • Experience of working with regional / global teams
  • Experience of working with alliance partners is a plus

  • Strong strategic thinking, planning capability, and systematic in problem solving
  • Excellent in project management, highly organized, and strong business acumen
  • Experience with commercial valuations and extensive financial, analytical and decision making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; with Quality Conversations skills
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

    Some domestic & overseas business travels
