Keep the sales momentum moving forward in the region. Hit the desired numbers while assessing current opportunities, resources, and capabilities needed to meet or exceed plan for the next 3 to 5 years.
Work with marketing to identify and act on new opportunities where to grow the business?
Sell to the customer and develop and leverage a relationship with marketing to influence the priorities in the factory
Work with marketing to develop a account strategy based on market analysis and customer segmentation.
Quickly develop and build senior level relationships internal to GF and external to major accounts and targets.
Work closely with the manufacturing organizations to successfully introduce new products on critical launch calendars.
Provide direction to the global sales support functions including customer service, sales operations, product logistics, order processing, and inventory management.
Ensure that the sales organization has critical customer information on a real-time basis.
Provide the recruiting, training and development programs to encourage collaboration across the region and enable the entire sales and marketing organization to succeed.
Evaluate current individuals in the sales organization from top to bottom. Make required changes to insure that GLOBALFOUNDRIES is building a world class team.
Degree / Master in Engineering
Min 15 years of experience in related industry
Min 8 years of experience in management role
Demonstrated ability to work well within a global matrixed team or environment
Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization and experience in working with external constituencies
Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
