Objectives and Scope of Position :

Purposes :

  • Is responsible for the Business Unit’s achievement of the agreed objectives (sales and investment budgets)
  • Drives alignment of the Business Unit behaviour in business with local law, company values and policies
  • Is a member of the core management team and as such shapes the strategic direction, organization, processes and culture of the affiliate
  • Aligns the Unit’s organization with the strategic intent
  • Leads sales and marketing teams within the Business Unit and fosters a productive work environment within the Unit and with cross functional team members (e.
  • g. Medical Manager, DRA Manager, Clinical Trial Manager, etc.)

  • Oversees product promotion strategy and it’s alignment with the global strategy
  • Deploys human and financial resources within the Business Unit to best meet business objectives
  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities
  • Ensures the Unit’s compliance with business planning and SOPs
  • Develops team members to build high performing team
  • Attracts and motivates members to build a strong tlanet piplieine
  • Outputs :

  • Achievement of quantitative and qualitative objectives set out for the Business Unit within a specified time frame (usually calendar year).
  • Employee satisfaction and creation of a productive work environment in line with company values.
  • Compliance with legal, industry and company policies.
  • Education / Qualifications :

    Minimum : University degree or above (preferably in business or science)

    Strongly desired : MBA or above

    Experience, Skills, Knowledge

  • 1. Experience of 7+ years experiences in the Pharmaceutical Industry in various positions (of which at least 2 years in Product Management);
  • HQ experience is an asset

    2. 5+ years of experience in people management, of which at least 2+ years experience in top management level is strongly preferred

    3. Strong track record of successful people management

    4. Strong track record of commercial success that can be attributed to the person

    5. Fluent in written and spoken English (other languages are an asset)

    6. Deep understanding of Pharma Industry

    7. Good knowledge of software applications
