This role reporting into Systems Supply Chain & Technology Enabling (SSC) Team to specifically support Systems Product Group (SPG) under CCG.
In this position, as Supply Chain Manager, you will collaborate closely with Business Unit partners to develop and implement global sourcing strategies, supplier selections, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
You will be responsible to ensure our supply chain network of ODMs (Outsource Design Manufacturers) and CM's (Contract Manufacturers) are able to meet or exceed Intel's expectations on Cost, Availability, Quality, Technology and Sustainability.
You will have the opportunity to engage with senior management both internally and externally. This position requires strong communication skills, coupled with the ability to influence our partners to drive the right supply chain decision and strategies for Intel.
You will interact and influence a diverse group of global stakeholders and colleagues (executives, leaders, technologists, suppliers, planners, buyers, engineers, finance, legal, marketing, program managers, etc.
which provide exposure and insight to Intel strategies and technologies.
Develop / execute deal structures, contracts, negotiations and business models comprehending intellectual property concerns, licensing scope, statements of work, go to market strategies and others as appropriate for the business.
Drive RFQs, contracts, negotiations, and availability with suppliers. You will align with key stakeholders to develop supply strategies, product specifications and Statements of work.
Management of the current ODM / EMS supplier base, as well the development of new suppliers as necessary.
Contracting and Supplier Management
Cost management of BOM & outsourced activities.
Recommending / influencing cost optimization proposals that might include make-versus-buy, alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria.
You will represent SSC at external meetings with suppliers. You must be comfortable in leading and collaborating with globally dispersed teams in a complex, dynamic, environment.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree with 7+ yrs of commercial experience, or Masters / MBA with 4+ yrs of related experience in sourcing and supply chain.
Demonstrable experience driving complex business transactions from deal conception and negotiations to contract closure and supply ramp, including collaboration with engineering, IP, product development and contract manufacturing elements.
Related experience in the following : - Knowledge of Manufacturing Outsourcing and supply chain, component suppliers, and Electronic Manufacturing Systems assembly.
Work with diverse global, cross-functional, internal and external teams and stake holders.
