Job SummaryThis position resides within Commercial Technology, Gorilla® Glass Asia. The candidate will be a key player in initiating and strengthening technical engagements with external customers, and internally support a cross-
functional team tasked with developing next-generation innovation product and processes. We are looking for individual who can achieve the following objectives : (1)Deliver success in engaging customer technically in early stage product innovation with sound approach and strong fundamental in materials engineering and mechanics of materials.
2)Drive technical activities with customers and provide analyses and technical feedback to development team for validation of attributes to meet requirements.
3)Provide direction to related cross-functional team for testing and characterization, analyze technical data and own responsibility to prepare technical materials for customer communication.
4)Gather and analyze technical trends in mobile consumer electronics, and provide recommendation on the potential impact on current and future related technology (product, process) offerings.
Day to Day Responsibilities : Engage external customer technically and drive related execution, and collaborate with the new product development programs / commercial team to : (1)Introduce new product innovation and articulate value proposition to customers(2)Understand customer’s technical requirements, testing and plan in evaluating new product and manage testing plan internally (3)Conduct experiments to address technical challenges at customer in their evaluation(4)Collaborate with internal teams to address customer’s feedback(5)Perform hands-
