Preferred Qualifications

The Business Relationship Management (BRM) team serves as the strategic engagement interface between Global IT and our internal Business Partners, to stimulate, surface and shape business demand for Global IT's products and services and ensure that the potential business value from those products and services is captured, realized, optimized and recognized.

The BRM directly interacts with Global IT executive leadership and Business Partner executives (VP and above) to align strategic priorities and optimize business value delivery.

The BRM needs to have a solid understanding of how the business runs and partners closely with Enterprise Architecture and Agile Delivery teams to decompose value stream opportunities into capabilities and features as well as identify where the business can leverage existing capabilities to meet their needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Responsible for managing Global IT’s relationship with an internal Business Function. Has strong relationship building skills and a customer service focus.

Able to engage and collaborate with executives on strategic planning activities. Has excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Able to advise, influence, and collaborate with executives on initiatives of varying scope from conception to delivery. Experienced in business case and scope development.

Experienced with Lean and Agile methodologies.Basic understanding of IT budget management fundamentals and procurement processes.

Able to operate with enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing business needs, and multi-task with attention to detail.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Primary responsibilities include :

  • Build and nurture effective relationships with senior executives
  • Manage an account plan that tracks the Business Partner’s strategic initiatives and alignment with Global IT's strategy
  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities including writing lightweight business cases
  • Ensure potential business value of opportunities is captured, measured and optimized
  • Partners closely with SAFe Enterprise and Solution Architects, Epic Owners, Business Owners, Product Owners and Product Managers to decompose value stream opportunities into capabilities and features that can be prioritized in a backlog for Program Increment Planning
  • Act as an escalation point of contact for issues and communications
  • Promote Global IT Products and Services and encourage adoption
  • Present regular updates on key initiatives to senior IT and business executives

    Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like.

    Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers / partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs / impact assessments.

    Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-

    time delivery within budget constraints.

    Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products / services / processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.

    Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products / services / processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

    Ten or more years of project management, product design or related experience needed.
