Joining the team as an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Lead Manager, you will assist in project development, procurement and construction activities for the Taiwanese wind projects.
The Offshore Wind project will be a key component in Taiwan’s future energy mix, and as such, you will join a substantial and longstanding commitment to the renewable energy and clean technology sectors.
Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible in working with our clients partners, advisors and team members to manage diverse EPC related elements for their project.
You will manage the project during the planning and development phase, and create and manage a suitable resource plan to fit with their overall long term objectives by scoping and selecting project advisers and consultants (engineer and other market, technical or environmental consultants).
As an experienced EPC Lead Manager, you will also manage the construction and forward planning of EPC contractor activities.
This includes identifying and managing timing / interface issues with the EPC and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Contractors, and you will also need to manage the package managers during engineering reviews to ensure requirements are met in a timely manner.
You will have 15 years’ of experience within an energy developer, utility, turbine provider or a related field performing technical Package manager roles for offshore wind projects, with a degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering.
Your project management skills will allow you to communicate and liaise with clients to build and develop relationships.
Quantitative and analytical skills are both your strengths and you are ambitious, motivated and have the drive to succeed within a team environment.
Finally, you are fluent in English (written and spoken), and additional skills in Mandarin would be a plus.
