Use of control system fundamental via industrial controllers for achieving the desired target of the product / process parameters / attributes.
Hardware and software design of the control system for manufacturing process. Develop or modify control systems including data acquisition, data display, control charts and control algorithms.
Equipment checkout, move-in, Installation, debug, commissioning and integration of control systems into to manufacturing facilities.
Work with process engineers to conduct process improvement experiments and manufacturing studies. Statistics analysis of manufacturing and experimental data to find process upset root causes and appropriate solution.
It involves the application of fundamental knowledge and methods for understanding physical phenomena to achieve specified characteristics and criteria for products and processes.
Work on teams with production and engineering to improve yield, throughput, and cycle time and process uptime improvements.
Participate in all stages of manufacturing processes that involve forming (glass and ceramics), ceramics / glass firing / annealing, ware handling and finishing processes that involves-
Cutting, grinding, polishing, washing and assembly / packaging of final products.
Transfer of technology to manufacturing operation with full implementation of training and documentation systems (SOP, SOS and Training).
Work with development team for new processes and product introductions.
