Preparation of precise and concise loan agreements (ranging from new facilities, amendments to annual renewals) in line with the bank ’s credit decision and policies, including :

  • To liaise with internal / external Legal and / or other counter parties to review and solidify the credit related legal documents to ensure the Bank’s full legal rights.
  • To fine-tune the credit administration procedure and process from time to time.
  • To prepare all legal documents in connection with credit extension
  • To prepare credit authorization ticket
  • To liaise with Legal Department and external lawyer (if necessary) for all non-standard legal documents
  • To input and maintain relevant information in the relevant systems
  • To prepare instruction for creation or release of mortgage
  • To prepare Instruction to external lawyer for registration of de-registration of charge documents at the incorporated country of the Chargor
  • Coordination with Regional and Local Credit teams

  • To assist the Credit Analysts on the preparation of credit proposals.
  • To coordinate with Regional Monitoring team to handling / follow up the trade level approval and limit / collateral management.
  • Before the setup of local Credit Administration framework, coordinate with Regional Credit Admin team to handle credit documentation preparation and receipt.
  • To assist the control of the loan agreements and trade level documents and its deficiency.
  • To attend to ah-hoc assignments, e.g. to support other credit analysts in the team as assigned from time to time.

  • Prepare periodic & non-periodic reports to Head Office, Regional Office, Local Regulatory, Credit Bureau, and local management reports.
  • Support to new business project. Responsibility and contribution to control aspects, including :

  • Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework.
  • Contribute to the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities, such as Control Plan
  • Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
  • Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System
  • Strong developing and hunting clients abilit

  • Experience in providing legal support within the banking industry, preferably with experience in wealth management matters.
  • Experience in wealth management / investment products and services and / or providing legal support on derivatives / structured products an advantage.
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment regarding the distribution of investment products.
  • Ability to legally analysis products, derivatives, credit structures and arrangements.
  • Good documentation skills. Ability to draft clear and professional legal and credit documentation.
  • Good project management skills, particularly with a view to driving documentation and other legal projects as well as managing / coordinating / participation in regulatory investigations / disputes and litigation.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work and advise independently and proactively,deal with a robust and demanding internal client base including by handling multiple matters simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines when required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years working experience in financial institutions with a minimum 4 years in a credit administration / loan agreement management role (credit trained).
