The Regional Mapping and Content Organisation is the team that helps collect the data that goes onto our maps and is also tasked with maintaining the freshness of our maps.

This team is looking for a full time Sr Support Specialist to enable our regional Director to carry out his duties.

This role is a hybrid one that involves traditional 'Chief of Staff' responsibilities along with some administrative duties and events organizations.


As the Sr Support Specialist, you will be based in Taipei and report to the North Asia Regional Director based in Yokohama, Japan.

You will be frequently required to represent HERE in interactions with peers, other departments and upper management of customers, vendors, and others outside of organizations.

Your main responsibilities include :

Working closely with Director to understand reporting needs to aid effective planning for North Asia.Generating weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting collated from various internal systems.

Preparing presentations (in close collaboration with the Director and country leads) on program governance. Generating data analysis and making key recommendations whilst always monitoring and reporting changes which impact teh North Asia region.

Effectively coordinating key initiatives as assigned across the countries in the region.Supporting the Director with his expense reports, calendar, meeting schedules and travel arrangementsPerforming administrative and Taipei office support activities.

Coordinating and arranging internal and external meetings for the team, including meeting room reservations.


You are a great candidate for this role if you have experience in project support roles and administrative support. You have a passion to learn new things and can demonstrate maturity in handling projects that could be sensitive and require confidentiality.

You also possess the following skill sets, competencies and experience

Bachelor's or University Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.A minimum of 4 years of experience of working in a project environment and supporting projects Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,)Expertise in reporting tools (Peoplesoft, Clarity, Hyperion or similar)Fluency in English both written and spoken.

Independent and able to work with minimal supervision.Ability to operate with self-initiative in ambiguous / dynamic situations Able to accommodate changes in roles and responsibilities, and organization change high tolerance to ambiguityAdept at performing administrative tasks like calendar management, claim reimbursement, travel arrangements and organizing meetingsAbility to collaborate with stakeholders in the region and work in virtual teams.
