Liaise with Government / Regulatory Authorities and NonGovernment Organisations to ensure appropriate representation of the companyposition.
Participate in development of the overall industry strategyin areas where regulatory impact is changing or is of significance.
Develops and implement regulatory policy and stewardship strategies to secure LTO and growth of Syngenta’s assets.
Manage the stewardship activity cooperate with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage that staffs in the team are well operating country’s portfolio ofdesignated active ingredients and products where required to meet the country regulatory requirements.
Lead team members that regulatory input is provided intodevelopment programs through CCPT and reports for consistency and fitness for thepurpose.
Lead team members that registration plans and timelines are set with CCPT members andcommunicated to stakeholders.
Lead with CP Regulatory Lead that team members istaking appropriate actions proactively to ensure registrations are achieved according toplan.
Manage safety study and registration plan arefollowing to governance process.
Developand maintain high quality relationships with internal and external customers relating product development, PLCM matters and stewardship management.
Lead with CP Regulatory Lead global and regionalregulatory coordination programs like Import tolerance and other regulatoryrelating initiatives.
Anticipateany significant regulatory matters impacting upon our ability to obtainregistrations and make proactive approach upon necessity tomitigate the impacts.
Effectivelydeveloprelationships with Governments, Regulatory Authorities and IndustryAssociations to resolve issues and favorably influence legislation changes.
With CP Regulatory Lead prepare and administerthe section’s annual expense and capital budgets.
Participatein regional / territory regulatory workshop and pro-activelycontribute to the regulatory function in region / territory.
Manage regulatory relating stewardship programs andacross territory through proper stakeholder management and liaising withcommercial team and other R&D functions.
Coordinates with the field force in safe & responsible use of product training in creating business opportunity for Syngenta for business growth
Manage and develop staff in the team to ensure their accountabilities are met.
Knowledge, experience& capabilities
At least 3 years’ experience in the area of regulatory affairs preferably in crop protection
A sound understanding of project management
A sound knowledge of the principles of regulation with experience across one or more countries or experience in a specific area of regulatory science.
People management and development experience.
