Job Description

  • In this position, you are entrusted to work directly with customers and customer support team to enable Intel's Wireless Connectivity technology on OEM / ODM WIN / Linux platforms.
  • This position is a combination of Product Application Engineer and Customer Facing Engineer, where some aspects of Technical Account Manager might be required as well.
  • The key duties and responsibilities are :

  • Providing OEM design support to ensure successful platform launch, resolving technical issues by working with the internal engineering team.
  • Provide interface between product Engineering, WiFi / BT program managers, WiFI / BT engineering team and customers facing team
  • Working closely with OEM / ODMs, participate in Engineering tours, platform workshops.
  • Providing technical assistance for their development and debug,
  • Hardware and RF technical training as needed to field teams and customers
  • Review customer data and specs and deliver feedback on required improvements.
  • Program and Bug management member, providing data and bug status.
  • Additional activities : Design change review and coordination, Technical advisory, Collaterals, SW / HW Release management, ARs treatment.
  • Qualifications General :

  • BS or MS EE / CE- Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • 3-5 years of troubleshooting experience with wireless, specifically WIFI / BT
  • High English communication and presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge in PC architecture and C language- Debugging tool like gdb and compiler are a plus.
  • Understanding of IO interfaces such as PCI-Express and USB buses.
  • Strong lab working and debug skills
  • Traveling both international and domestic
  • Strong adaptive ability to work effectively in a global team environment and across organizational boundaries
  • Strong ability to work independently, multitask effectively, and exhibit strong influencing skills and customer orientation in an ambiguous environment.
  • Linux :

  • Strong Linux kernel knowledge
  • Linux kernel upstream experience
  • Understanding of Linux device drivers and software applications development
  • Windows :

  • Strong Windows knowledge
  • Understanding of Windows device drivers and software applications development.
