City Taipei Country Taiwan TW Title Manager, Information Systems - Taipei Req # APGA240 Functional Area General Administration Position Overview Job Description

  • Work collaboratively with IT members in APAC region
  • Provide IT infrastructure and helpdesk support for Taiwan offices including managing and maintaining servers, networks and firewalls.
  • Provide daily end user support including email, IP phones, user accounts, printing, applications, etc.
  • Install, maintain and upgrade workstation hardware, software, and major operating systems
  • Analyze complex technical issues and provide clear, concise and comprehensive resolutions
  • Responds to end-user tickets and requests within business defined service level agreements
  • Negotiate with service providers
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with Information Technology
  • 3+ years of progressive IT leadership experience (IT Lead or Manager Role)
  • 3+ years of networking experience (Firewall, LANs, WANs, Wireless, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, etc)
  • Administration and user support experience for Windows AD, Windows, Mac, Linux, MS Office
  • Team / results oriented, flexible, proactive, self-starter
  • Patience personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good English speaking and writing skills
  • Experience in Oracle user support and VMWare is a plus
