Providing leadership to team members and the Distribution Center in support of achieving the goals and objectives of the DC and achievement of operating company service level agreements, while managing within the operational budget

Managing people, time and tasks in accordance with safety, quality and environmental compliance, operational budget, and operational calendar
Driving continuous improvement in both productivity and quality
Exhibiting strong skills to analyze and solve problems; support Lean and PE projects
Supervising materials management activities which include the ordering of material, the warehouse and inventory control operations, and the distribution
Ensuring material availability, timely distribution and customer satisfaction.
Manage within the operational budget.
Assign shift work
and ensure smooth shift overlap and transition
Balance operational priorities across end to end process and cross franchise view from replenishment to shipment
Oversee housekeeping, safety, and quality
Complete analysis for effective labor management
Understand and know how to use wave planning tools
Determine and decide picking strategies and priorities
Implement Management Action Plan, ensuring safety, quality and environmental compliance
Keep management informed on project status, process changes, and opportunities
Regularly communicate in all directions to keep associates, peers, and management team informed
Supervise process of material management of raw materials and warehousing of finished goods through subordinate
Prioritize workloads, monitors, and adjust daily work schedules and distribute projects to ensure schedules are met
Implement material management and distribution policies, standards, guidelines, technology, and procedures
Monitor the delivery scheme for raw materials
Investigate and submit purchase orders to management
Keep track of inventories (raw materials, intermediates and finished products), and ensures the material is available when needs
Follow up the process of warehousing of finished goods from factory, fill orders, ships and deliver merchandise to sale warehouse, wholesale or retail outlets and customer
Cooperate with relevant department to arrange the raw material inventory, inventory levels and delivery times, and establishes alignment with the other supply chain partner
Risk prevention and mitigation
Address customer complaints with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action plan
Proactive research of environment for trends in voice of customer for broader planning
Proactively assess performance of assigned area, identify failures and root causes and make improvements
Participate in and lead programs to ensure efficient and cost effective operation and utilization of the facility
Participate in developing raw materials budget and management of this budget
Provide guidance, direction, development planning, and performance feedback on a regular basis to all team members, in accordance with the Operating Company’s Career Management Process, to ensure effective and productive work teams
Supervise material handling and distribution staff

Bachelor / Master’s degree of Logistics, Business, or related fields
3-5 related working experience
Innovative mindset, crisis management, project management, change management, knowledge management, technology and data management, quality mindset, global mindset, influencing, analytics and problem solving, decision making, compliance orientation, business case development, and drive for continuous improvement
Three to five years of relevant experience in distribution, operations, Supply Chain and / or logistics, and people management.
Experience working in a GMP environment is an asset.
Preferred : Process Excellence and / or Lean experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS : The work environment is a warehouse setting at a Logistics Center. Domestic travel may be required % of the time.
