We serve multiple industries requiring micro-sized parts, including medical, micro electronics, micro optics, automotive electronics, military / aerospace, and emerging technologies applications.

We have a new opportunity for a Customer Quality Engineer / Technical Support to join Accumold's talented, dedicated and growing Sales team in Taiwan! This bilingual (English / Mandarin) engineer will be responsible for representing Accumold with customers in the Asian region to clearly identify customer concerns, relay them to the U.

S. sales team, and provide resolution back to the customer. This is for a 2-5 year contract. The role requires almost daily travel to Shenzhen and to Manilla every two or three weeks.

Must also be able to travel to the U.S. on occasion. Provides technical perspective to customers on Engineering, Quality, Customer Plant operations representing Accumold.

Serves as bridge between customer experience and technical team.


  • Ability to understand and communicate technical plastic molding standards
  • with Asian customer base and relay information to Accumold team.
  • Using product drawings and documentation assess customer needs against product quality.
  • Document and coordinate solutions for customer service expectations.
  • Must be able to articulate customer information in both Mandarin and English during frequent customer meetings, conference calls, and through written communication.
  • Establish good customer relations through strong people skills.
  • Perform daily monitoring of technical issues.
  • Other duties as required.

  • Integrity with Confidential Information : Ability to build trust with Asian customers and maintain company and customer confidential information.
  • Non-disclosure agreement required and extends indefinitely after contract termination by either party.

  • Education / Experience : Two-year technical degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Quality, or related field required.
  • Five years’ relevant experience preferred.

  • Computer Skills : Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Windows Server, and Microsoft Office products required. Experience with manufacturing and design software such as Auto-CAD, Solid Works.
  • Language Skills : Proven written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin necessary. Ability to communicate verbally with business partners to troubleshoot or diagnose problems.
  • Proven reading and comprehension skills to implement instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate information to Accumold employees both one-

    on-one and in small group situations.

  • Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve technical issues and deal with multiple variables. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Use experience to understand cause and effect as it relates to customer issues to trouble-shoot and problem solve.

  • Other Skills and Abilities : Willingness to travel to enhance and update knowledge of customer experience with product quality or service issues.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends in both an on call and project basis.
