To design electronics hardware to test and validate forcepads, clickpads, touchpads, fingerprint sensors, and other new types of human interface input devices, with in depth understanding of capacitive sensing technology.
Do hands-on work to design, assemble, tune and co-work with mechanical & software engineer debug test machines that the team have designed.
Do hands-on work to debug technical issues found in the testing. Position needs to work with cross-functional design teams to figure out optimal solutions
To investigate problems and identify robust solutions quickly
To participate in pre-scoping and scoping activity
To fulfill / satisfy customer needs; provide onsite support when needed.
Design, develop and maintain module or system-level test plans, test cases, test algorithm, methodology, criteria and test tools.
Support initial failure analysis return from factory or customer & yield improvement.
5 years experiences in designing industrial, consumer electrical or automotive products
Excellent communication, reasoning and problem-solving skills
Strong board level circuit debugging skills
Familiar with common test equipment such as power supply, oscilloscope, protocol analyzer.
Familiar with OrCad, PADS PCB.
Experience with ESD, EMS debugging is a plus.
Experience with MCU FW coding is a plus
Familiar with protocols like I2C, SPI, USB, SMBus is a plus
Experience with LabView, C++, python programming languages is a plus
Can work under time pressure in response to customer's dynamic changes
Strong teamwork orientation
A self-starter and can be a mentor for others
Good organizational and project management skills
Willing to travel (mostly in Asia)
