Accountabilities :

Reporting to the Commercial Excellence Lead, this position manages key processes and delivers activities in the Analysis and Forecasting area (Market Analysis, Market Research, Business Planning and Competitive Intelligence) to provide high quality insights, thorough recommendations and drive key decisions.

The role will work in close collaboration with Brand Teams, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Leadership Team, external agencies as well as regional counterpart.

It will be an integral part of the planning process and will provide deliverables that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities :

Data accuracy steward responsible for Sales Report management

Prepare and interpret sales and market analysis, enabling the organization to have overview of the local market insights from national, regional to brick level

Quarterly Veeva CRM HCP data management

SIP payment calculation and analysis

Coordinate Market Research and maximize all available primary and secondary data sources, working closely with the Regional BAI team to deliver high quality recommendations

Develop brand forecasts in accordance with the company processes and models

Influence brand strategy through active participation in the Business Unit Leadership Team and the Brand Team.

Proactively seek to build Amgen's capability in Market Analysis, Market Research and CI

Provide ad-hoc Forecasts on request

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's degree in healthcare science

IMS+ data access and analysis experience

Proficient in use of standard Microsoft Office software and advanced understanding of Excel

Proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese

Preferred Requirement :

Broad, working knowledge of commonly used biopharmaceutical industry databases

Understanding of at least one other functional area in BAI (market research, forecasting, marketing analysis).

Proven project management skills-able to manage multiple, simultaneous projects, data sources

Demonstrated analytical skills-understands the advantages and limits of different analytical approaches and studies and their findings

Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analyze data to support key business decisions
