Responsibilities

Understand the customers’ priorities and strategies, and plan programs of services that drive value and contribute to Microsoft growth through attainment of your revenue based, share based and / or consumption-based quota.

Developing a high-performing sales team to expand strategic customer relationships to drive larger impact for the customer selling Education services and solutions that grow consumption of Office 365, Windows 10 devices (including Microsoft Surface), Azure, Intune for Education, Dynamics 365 and Minecraft : Education Edition Plan and oversee the delivery and impact of services that drive customer objectives, outcomes and success and deepen digital transformation engagements with active use of the Microsoft Education Transformation Framework creating lighthouse examples of digital transformation.

Serve as an escalation point when required leveraging voice of customer feedback through surveys, listening systems and social mechanisms to identify and alleviate key customer success blockers.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business background, with 5-8 years education related experience and 3 or more years of people management and leading high performing sales teams to achieve quota and sustainable growth year-over year
  • Bachelor of Science / Arts in business administration with exposure to Information Technology (or equivalent) is required; MBA is preferred.
  • Experience of selling education software solutions (Microsoft software and devices technology preferred) combined with deep understanding of key education solutions and competitive technologies
  • Strong business planning and coaching / instilling business discipline skills woven with ability to encourage sales / tech sales team to develop and implement targeted plans
  • Possess executive maturity, presence and experience in building trust with senior education decision makers and articulating how education institutions can digitally transform teaching and learning / student outcomes with Microsoft solutions
  • Ability to drive digital transformation in a highly competitive environment with proven ability to successfully anticipate market changes to drive industry-
  • relevant solutions, address competitive threats and navigate complex customer environments
