Job Mission

Help our partners in Field Support maximize ASML tool performance, by providing a

responsive one-stop shop for diagnostic support, specialized skills, and knowledge.

Job Description

1. Technical problem solving within the F&T (Flow and Temperature) competency.

  • Solve complex technical problems by remote analyzing data and creating pro-active action plans.
  • Mobilize to customer site when not able to solve problem remotely.
  • Escalate to the next support level (D&E, IE, MF, SC, etc.) in a timely manner when we are not able to solve the issue within the GSC-
  • WW team and / or within the escalation process timing window.

  • Facilitate in escalations from the continental GSC’s (Asia / EU) towards the Factory (D&E, IE, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Manage the (technical) escalation, secure that the right data is available, and provide routine updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Identify, secure and support rollout of improvements for installed base machines
  • 2. Knowledge proliferation

  • Identify learning by use of IRP (Incident Repeat Prevention) process and make sure that proper follow-up is secured.
  • Mentor trainees and deliver feedback on potential improvements
  • Proliferate knowledge to the field at every opportunity
  • Integrate background information in action plans
  • Combine on-site support with knowledge transfers to local organization
  • 3. NPI preparation

  • During the NPI phase be assigned to the project in order to gain the required skills and knowledge to independently support field escalations.
  • Be in charge of your own training plan and indicate what is required.

  • Transfer and share gained skills and knowledge within WW GSC in order to establish and maintain equal continental GSC continental support teams.
  • Onsite introduction phase support by delivering knowledge / escalation handling to local organization.
  • Education

    Bachelor or Master degree in Technical Science (Physics, Mechatronics, Electronics,

    Chemistry, Process Technology) or equivalent experience.

    Experience

    Knowledge of ASML equipment on a specialized technical level is a plus.

  • Strong communicator in English (both oral and written).
  • Strong analytic capability and a pro-active initiating attitude.
  • Flexible in working hours, travel and work environments.
  • Flexible for temporary (inter)national assignments (3-6 months)
  • Independent
  • Team worker, good social skills, customer-oriented.
  • Ability to plan and set priorities
  • Context of the position

    Position will require traveling up to 30%. Home base for GSC Flow / Temperature is Linkou,
