This team is looking to hire a Data Acquisition Analyst to support our Taiwan and Greater China region.
What's the role?
As a Data Acquisition Analyst, you will be responsible for representing HERE Technologies and enabling partnerships with data providers with the aim of acquiring the relevant data at the right time and place.
Your main responsibilities include : Producing a strategic partnership plan for each customer segment, then managing the end-
to-end content acquisition, relationship management and negotiation process Finding qualifying and acquiring a variety of geospatial datasets that meet company objectives, mainly focused on closing mid to high complex deals with a wide variety of stakeholders across numerous industries Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers Coordinating basic marketing support, administration and communication related to the sourcing team Pursuing suppliers of geospatial data, arranges meetings, presentations and follows up with suppliers Conducts preliminary source evaluation.
Executing all required contracts and purchase orders and obtaining datasets. Coordinating with other teams to conduct initial supplier data evaluation to ingest data in order to build or enhance HERE's offerings.
Collaborating with internal teams to integrate the acquired data into the map. Ie. Product Management, Planning, Marketing, Procurement, Legal, Sales, Quality, Field Management, Production and Technical teams Ensuring commitments are met by monitoring, assessing, and resolving variances in budget, timing or quality Proactively monitoring supplier competencies and competitive positioning (benchmarking) Contributing to marketing, communication and event activities including a new website, brochures, emails, white papers, webinars, workshops and conferences etc
Who are you?
You are a strong fit for this role if you possess the following skills, competencies and work experience : Bachelor’s degree in business or any connected field.
5 + Years of work experience in procurement or business development Knowledge and / or understanding of Maps and Location-
Based services Strong oral and written communication skills in English and in Hokkien. Japanese is a plus. You are result-
oriented and able to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze data (comfortable with numbers), problem solve, prioritize and organize to achieve stated goals Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Power point
