Job Description

ADB SAFEGATE has successfully installed a brand new and modern airfield ground lighting (AGL) as well as control and monitoring system (ACMS) at the airport of Taipei(TPE).

Since 1.5y ADB SAFEGATE is also in charge of the Asset Management with regards to the airfield AGL and CMS assets. A team of 40 people run these operations under ADB SAFEGATE’s responsibility.

The maintenance project manager position will lead the Technology Transfer Project for 3y. In this project ADB SAFGATE transfers knowledge and competencies to airport personal.

This includes, beyond others, setting up an AGL and CMS training center at TPE, implementing a professional Asset Management System (CMMS) including all relevant procedures and implementing the procedures and the CMMS into the daily operations.

During the duration of the assignment of the Maintenance Project Manager, also the today’s Maintenance Manager, responsible for the daily facility and asset management, will report to the Maintenance Project Manager.

The role of the Maintenance Project Manager is a demanding one, with interfaces to many ADB Safegate internal departments as well as to the different departments of the end customer.

The maintenance project manager keeps control of the financial situation of the project and its general success.

The maintenance manager is supported by a Chinese and English speaking deputy.

A candidate for this position has minimum 5y in the context of AGL. Minimum 3 years the candidate had this leading position at a CAT II airport for Asset Management / Facility management AGL.

The candidate worked with a CMMS, executed and documented maintenance schedules, maintenance activities, created shift plans etc.

  • Minimum 3y at a CAT II airport in a leading position
  • Team Lead
  • Usage of an CMMS (Asset Management System) is an advantage
  • Understanding of financial figures
  • Education

  • University qualification (minimum) in electronic engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, information engineering, industrial engineering, industrial management and other related faculty graduated.
  • IT-Skills

  • Basic understanding of networks and industrial IT setups including PLCs
  • Experienced in Office applications
  • Languages

  • English, Chinese would be an asset
