The incumbent reports into the Regional Reporting Manager in Independent Risk, Consumer, Asia Pacific team, supporting the Regional Reporting Manager who manages all forecasting, internal and external reporting for Asia Consumer.
These reporting include those to senior management in Asia Pacific and Independent Risk, the Board and the US regulators.
Key responsibilities are as follows :
Prepare monthly / quarterly portfolio quality / business reviews with senior managers in Asia Pacific and Independent Risk as well as US regulators.
Consolidate and prepare regional financing forecasting and perform variance analyses of actual financial against plan / reforecasts. These include :
Monthly / quarterly outlook
Annual financial planning and official reforecasts.
Consolidate and prepare bi-annual CCAR stress tests results submission.
Coordinate with GCRM on economic assumption feedback
Work with regional finance on receivable delivery timeline and reconciliation
Coordinate with regional modeling team on loss forecasting upload and ensue data -upload to Global CitiRisk aggregation tool reconciled to country submission
Manage loss forecasting process for gross-up portfolios
Summarize scenario outputs for total APAC
Review monthly and quarterly reporting submitted by FRI Mumbai team.
Consolidate and prepare quarterly LLR recommendations for the Asia consumer business.
Quarterly FDIC / CCAR data submission coordination which includes edit check report review, quarterly variance analysis review and etc.
Data definition clarification as well as data restatement coordination among Global Risk, Regional Finance and Country Risk.
Support various global reporting projects eg. CRR, RRTS, Core Capability for US regulatory data submission, and other regional MIS / reporting projects.
The incumbent needs to interact and work closely with 18 countries, Regional Finance team, Global Risk Architecture and Global Consumer Risk Management.
With 5+ years financial working experience, risk management experience in consumer banking is preferred.
MS Excel and Power Point skill is essential. SAS programming or SQL programming is a plus.
With MBA, MA or MS degree(s) in finance, economics, statistics, operations research or related fields.
Self-motivated individual with high sense of responsibility, a team-player and can work under pressure. Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with countries.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Good work organization and work planning is critical. Attention to details, meticulous and patient are key.
