Service / NEA / Taiwan
In the Service department, our focus is to provide our clients with high quality and best possible production of their wind power plants.
With our long standing excellent track record and service experience globally, we work to ensure that we manage our clients' plants effectively to get the most out of each turbines while upholding to our commitment to safety standards.
Field activities in offices, warehouse and service sites
Administrative tasks (20%)
Review Service quality plan annually
Implement SQP at site and ensure Quality of works as per standard & procedure.
Report Non conformities and implement Corrective & Preventive actions
Maintain Calibration of tools and accessories. Conduct re-certification of equipment and tools
Monitor Site document as per ISO requirements
Facilitates and conduct site inductions of site personnel, including direct Vestas employees, contractors, subcontractors, labor hire personnel and trades
Facilitate site QSE monitoring programs including inspections and implementing proactive safety programs
Manage Subcontractor safety and associated documentation.
Coordination with Client, Quality department and site for site quality related issues and resolutions.
Participate Client HSE meeting regularly and provide feed back
Conduct mechanical walk down / Service walk down and assist technicians when needed.
Creation and review of local HSE documents (Risk assessments, HSE plans, emergency response plan)
Set up of training requirements according to local legislation
Provide guidance regarding personal protective equipment’s
Guidance of other departments in coordination of activities with subcontractor, handling of wastes and chemical, emergency response, implementation of procedures and standards,
Consolidate monthly report on HSE
Maintain Fuel consumption, subcontractor working hours details
Internal and external (subcontractors) audits and follow up of action plans
Assist Balance of Plant maintenance activities and follow up regularly.
Participate and witness site tests. Report to the Site Manager / Second In charge.
Support daily tool box meetings and de-briefs with subcontractors and site management team
Assist with any other procedures in efforts to maintain a safe work environment at all times.
Provide lessons learnt and contribute to performance development initiatives.
In addition to these duties, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.
Bachelor degree or Advanced Technical degree in Health & Safety engineering related field.
Demonstrated expertise in Quality, Safety and Environment, including a thorough knowledge of current legislation, regulations, codes of practice and standards
Taiwan Level B Safety Certificate
Proven ability to develop, implement and review QSE management systems, polices and procedures
2-3 years working experience
Proficiency in both written and spoken English
Development / implementation of processes and procedures, including comprehensive EH&S plans.
Experience in conducting inspections and audits.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Physically capable to climb WTGs
Knowledge of import, export business, as well as transport experience preferred
Able to read, write, and communicate in English
Excellent PC skills, Windows OS and MS Office
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, company staff, subcontractors and labourers
A practical, hands-on approach to resolving QSE issues
Excellent time management and reporting skills
A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
Ability to work in a team environment
