Job Overview

Typically handles more critical accounts or larger territories. Primary responsibility is to sell the company’s products or services in

the field. Calls on prospective customers, provides technical and administrative product information and / or demonstrations, and

quotes appropriate customer prices. May provide technical guidance to less experienced sales personnel. Represents the company

to the customer and the customer to the company in sales-related matters; understanding of customers business and product

requirements is necessary. Fully knowledgeable about company products. Responsible for meeting assigned sales quota.

Responsible for selling the company’s products or services to and maintaining relationships with existing named accounts.

Responsible for new account development and / or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory. Interfaces

with appropriate internal departments (engineering, customer service, marketing, operations, purchasing, etc.) as needed. Requires

a Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or appropriate field and typically at least seven years of progressive sales

experience.

TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

  • Responsible for the performance and development of the Account Executives.
  • Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval,while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.

  • Assists Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

  • Define sales strategies and monitor business development to achieve company sales target
  • Develop and maintain good relationship with customers to maximize their satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Identify new business opportunities in assigned customers and by new customers
  • Enthusiastic can-do attitude, highly self-motivated, result oriented, detail oriented and a well-developed sense of drive.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor Degree,Above 2 years of experience in sales or
  • product management
  • Excellent computer,project management, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
