Customer Quality Engineering Program Manager
We are looking for a senior level technical program manager with a strong background in computer products (ex : notebook, desktop, server ).
This individual will be responsible to lead customer quality improvement programs, working closely with multi-functional teams across Asia and North America.
Must be a team player with a commitment to meet deadlines and an aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A strong customer focus to drive regional OEM / Channel customer quality excursion / projects to closure.
The position is based in our Taipei office.
Be direct customer (mainly OEM and Channel) interface for quality & engineering issue
Drive quality metrics and excursion responses to achieve customer satisfaction.
Align with cross-functional teams (ex : BU, Sales, Engineering, PLQ, FA, ODM CQE) on customer engagement, with emphasis on driving technical enablement / communications, platform technical support, and platform / ASIC level debug / issue resolution
Drive systematic quality improvement to reduce customer quality defects.
Manage OEM / Channel customer critical issues and escalations through 8D methodology and / or 5-WHYs analysis.
Skills / Experience Requirement
10+ years in technology related field with at least 5 years in program management role
Proven records of success in the program management, with an ability to recognize business objectives, problem-analytical approaches, and good skill at working in global environment
Good communication, presentation and strong leadership skills; with ability to lead technical discussions in English and Chinese
Consolidate customer requirements and plans for customer deliverables in using next generation of AMD products
Good platform development or debug experiences in following area : motherboard hardware, BIOS, Driver, or computer system integration.
Lead cross functional teams to work customer communication for critical customer platform (hardware, software), quality, and / or operational issue observed at customer production line
Summarize customer program status and drive customer critical issues to closure to ensure customer program on track
Align with quality organization goals, identify and drive business / operation process improvement to increase customer satisfaction
Drive upstream team to ensure product quality for customer deliverables.
Required Degree : BS or above in Engineering
