Principal Objectives

This new role will be responsible for executing our corporate channel diversification strategies by growing our footprint and market share in current core channel, DS and explore the opportunities on other channel, ex,FSS,FSF, SMC and driving excellence in retail operations across our Brands.

This role will be under a matrix structure and the job holder will need to work closely with Affiliate Brand Managers, Finance personnel, and Regional Leaders to align our real estate and retail operation practices with global strategies.


Develop the affiliate knowledge and commercial strategy for alternative brick & mortar distribution channels (Department Store, shopping malls, free-

standing stores, partnerships with retailers, other new channels, etc.)

Responsible for location sourcing, lease negotiation for our new retail stores

Ensure our Brands secure / retain the best spaces and locations in the most cost- and time- effective manner

Keep abreast of the market trends - initiate retail geographic studies, monitor market evolution trends, city mapping, competitor research and feasibility study on new opportunities.

Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with retailers, landlords, real estate professionals.

Monitor on-going store performance of our brands among competitions & industry benchmarks

Support our brands in securing on-time internal approval for new projects including financial feasibility study, capital requirement

Assist the brands in working with store design teams, follow-up on changes including design presentation to retailer / landlords.

Share best practices and competitor / business intelligence

Professional Skills

10 years relevant experience in retail store operations & management

Retail real estate negotiationsfrom location selection to maintenance and / or exit

Knowledge on legal process related to real estate contracting and management

Experience in managing store construction and opening process

Knowledge on retail store operations including point of sales systems / platforms

Disciplined self-starter, ability to influence, lead and collaborate

Able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure and highly visible work environment

Excellent oral / written communication and presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software


Fluency in English and Mandarin, written and spoken

Strong business acumen

Strong ability to identify critical concerns and prioritize; problem-solving abilities
